About Me

The Ghost behind the code.

I’m Abass Ibrahim — Ghost online — based in Lagos State, Nigeria. My work lives at the intersection of clean interface design, dependable engineering, and calm problem-solving under real-world constraints. I enjoy building products that feel sharp, intentional, and fast — the kind of UI that earns trust in the first few seconds.

Professionally, I work as an IT Support Specialist in the Oil & Gas sector, so I’m wired for uptime, clarity, and systems thinking. That background shapes how I approach software: consistent patterns, strong defaults, readable flows, and the discipline to ship features without breaking what already works.

On the builder side, I lean frontend while staying comfortable across the stack — from Next.js and APIs to databases and automation. I design in Figma only, and I write about the craft on Hashnode and Medium: lessons from building, debugging, and making complex ideas easier to work with.

Things I’ve shipped.

A selection of work across product builds, design systems, automation, and dashboards — built to be clean, fast, and maintainable.

01
ReactNode.jsPostgreSQLPrismaREST APIs

Operations Hub — Full‑Stack Workflow Platform

A production-ready web app built for high-pressure operations: role-based access, audit-friendly activity feeds, and a clean workflow for creating, reviewing, and shipping requests. I designed the UI system first, then implemented a fast React client with a Node.js API, PostgreSQL data modeling, and Prisma migrations for dependable deployments.

02
FigmaDesign TokensComponentsPrototyping

Editorial UI Kit — Figma Design System

A token-driven design system built in Figma with a strict grid, typography scales, reusable components, and interactive prototypes. It supports dark-first editorial layouts, accessible contrast targets, and documentation pages that make handoff to developers clean and predictable.

03
JavaScriptWeb3.jsAutomationBots

On‑Chain Bot Suite — Web3 Automation

A set of Web3 scripts and bot utilities for monitoring contracts, reacting to events, and executing safe automated actions with guardrails. Built with clear configuration, retry logic, and status reporting — designed to be understandable, maintainable, and resilient under real-world network conditions.

04
Next.jsSupabaseTailwindTypeScriptRealtime

Pulse Admin — SaaS Dashboard

A polished dashboard experience with authentication, realtime updates, and a component library designed for speed. Built with Next.js and Tailwind for snappy UX, backed by Supabase for auth and realtime data. Focused on clarity: actionable views, clean states, and sharp interaction details.
